The Director
Anita Wolberd, CMI Co-founder and Director, is continuing the Caspari Montessori tradition by preparing a new generation of Montessori teachers through course instruction and intern supervision. She has been a Montessori teacher since 1985 and a certified Montessori Master Teacher since 1996. She holds a bachelor degree from Indiana University and Montessori certifications through The Pan American Montessori Society. She was trained directly by Dr. Elisabeth Caspari and collaborated closely with her for over 20 years. In addition with her work with CMI, Anita Wolberd is a teacher trainer and examiner for Pan American Montessori Society and a Commissioner on The Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). She lectures widely on the principles and curriculum of Montessori early childhood education.
