Dr. Montessori's Message
Nearly one hundred years ago, Maria Montessori (1870 - 1952) brought a message of hope for life. This hope is based upon her discoveries about the nature and needs of little children and how we, who are no longer children, can help them. This message, which has long passed the test of time, is for every continent, every culture, and every age. It is a plea for the strong to stop oppressing the weak. It is a plea for the strong to support the development of the younger, the weaker, the less experienced members of our culture. Maria Montessori's message of Help to Life is our hope for life. Our hope is that each generation will help the next prepare to actively participate in the developing and maintaining of a free and peaceful world.
